BTS Jungkook Donates 1 Billion KRW to Support Wildfire Victims

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 28th that BTS member Jungkook donated 1 billion KRW to support the victims of the recent wildfires in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.



Of the 1 billion KRW donation, 500 million KRW will be used for emergency support and relief goods for those who lost their homes due to the wildfires. The remaining 500 million KRW will be allocated for improving the recognition and treatment of firefighters who are dedicated to responding to wildfires and other disasters.


Jungkook commented, "I hope this small help can provide support to those who are going through difficult times. I wish for all those affected by the wildfire and the firefighters working tirelessly to restore peace to their daily lives as soon as possible."


Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude for Jungkook’s generous contribution, saying, "We will do our best in the field to ensure that his heartfelt gesture brings comfort to the affected residents."
