Cardi B Goes Viral for Taking Korean Red Ginseng – U.S. Interest in HongSam Rises

Famous American rapper Cardi B has gone viral on TikTok after posting a video of herself taking Korea’s CheongKwanJang’s "Everytime" red ginseng product, which has now surpassed 1 million views. This has sparked a surge in interest in Korean red ginseng (HongSam) in the U.S.

On March 13, Cardi B shared a video on her TikTok channel, introducing her recent wellness routine and showing herself consuming red ginseng. “Maybe it’s because I just gave birth, or maybe because I’m in my 30s, but I’ve been feeling super sleepy,” she said. “Traveling from Miami to LA to New York has worn me out, but after taking Korean red ginseng ‘Everytime,’ I feel completely awake.”

She added, “Red ginseng is known to boost immunity, and I do feel clearer mentally and less hungry. I don’t know how Koreans found this, but if you’re exhausted and can’t sleep as much as you want—this is it!”

According to KGC (Korea Ginseng Corporation), the product sold in the U.S. includes “Everytime 2000mg” and “Everytime Lemon.” A representative said, “We plan to develop localized products and expand global distribution to grow into a top-tier global health brand.”
