It's not for everyone. Entry is limited to just 10,000 people per day. Even that requires 100% online reservations. Hwadam Forest in Gyeonggi Province, Korea, reopened its gates for the season on March 28.

The spring daffodil festival runs until the end of April, featuring 100,000 daffodils in full bloom across Hwadam Forest and the neighboring Konjiam Resort. A special daffodil grove blends beautifully with over 2,000 white birch trees, creating a signature spring view.

Along the 5.3 km walking trail, visitors can enjoy plum blossoms, daffodils, cornelian cherries, adonis flowers, and more across 16 themed gardens.

The cultural space “Hwadamchae” features a bonsai exhibition titled "A Small World with Light, Water, and Mountains.” Meanwhile, café Seedgreen serves drinks and pastries inspired by nature.

Visitors can also enjoy media art like “Meta Forest,” “Meta Bonsai,” and the character “Grovemon.” Family-friendly attractions include a Spring Stamp Tour and ecological guided tours.

All entry and monorail rides require online reservations. Hwadam Forest is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last admission at 5 p.m.
