Kim Soo-hyun, Controversy Over Modeling Activities… Brands Scramble to Respond

Recently, the controversy surrounding actor Kim Soo-hyun and the alleged underage relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron has caused several brands that had hired him as a model to take action. Some brands, closely monitoring the situation, have already taken steps such as removing photos.



On the 12th, K2 Korea removed all photos of Kim Soo-hyun from its official website, K-Village, and its Instagram account. The beauty brand Dinto also announced that all scheduled activities related to the model have been postponed.


Kim Soo-hyun is currently modeling for more than 10 brands, including K2 Korea, Dinto, Homeplus, Shinhan Bank, and others. According to sources in the retail industry, brands that have chosen Kim Soo-hyun as a model have now halted all promotional activities and are facing difficulties with promotional materials that are set to be released.


This controversy involving Kim Soo-hyun is having a significant impact on the brands he works with.
