Yutaka Matsushige, who serves as the lead actor, director, screenwriter, and producer of the film 'The Solitary Gourmet: The Movie', has officially confirmed his visit to Korea.

Having portrayed Goro Inogashira in the 'The Solitary Gourmet' series for 11 seasons, Matsushige now visits Korea not only as an actor but also as a director. News of his visit has further heightened anticipation among Korean fans.
Matsushige is a well-known Japanese actor who gained popularity in Korea through the 'The Solitary Gourmet' series, which pioneered the solo dining trend. He has also starred in dramas like 'Unnatural' and films such as 'Turtles Swim Faster Than Expected', 'The Last 10 Years', and '18×2 Road to You'.
In October last year, 'The Solitary Gourmet: The Movie' was officially invited to the 29th Busan International Film Festival's "Open Cinema" section, bringing Matsushige to Busan. He actively engaged with Korean audiences through the opening red carpet, press conference, open talk, and guest visit (GV) events.
Recently, Matsushige also appeared on a Korean YouTube channel, showcasing his friendly charm and delighting local fans. Now, in preparation for the movie's March release, he will once again visit Korea. His visit will include official press conferences, stage greetings, and various events, allowing him to interact directly with audiences and offer special fan services.
'The Solitary Gourmet: The Movie' follows a journey that begins in Paris, France, moves through a remote Japanese island, stops at Nampungdo and Geoje Island in Korea, and finally returns to Tokyo, Japan. The film showcases Goro's unexpected gourmet adventure in pursuit of the ultimate soup.
'The Solitary Gourmet: The Movie' will be released on March 19, raising excitement for both Matsushige's visit and the film itself.
