<Korea Info> Korea Airports Corporation to Gift Domestic Flight Open Tickets to Foreign Tourists

In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Tourism Organization, and Jin Air, the Korea Airports Corporation will launch a promotion to offer foreign tourists visiting Korea the opportunity for domestic air travel as part of the “2024 Visit Korea Year” campaign.

Korea Bucket List Promotion

According to the Korea Airports Corporation on the 14th, the promotion, in conjunction with the “Korea Bucket List Promotion” organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and managed by the Korea Tourism Organization, will provide 100 foreign tourists who enter through airports and verify their tickets between September 1 and November 10 with domestic flight open tickets.

These open tickets will allow travel to popular domestic tourist destinations such as Yeosu, Pohang, Gyeongju, and Jeju. The routes include round trips from Gimpo to Pohang Gyeongju Airport and Gimpo to Yeosu Airport, as well as a domestic travel circuit departing from Gimpo Airport and passing through Pohang Gyeongju, Yeosu, and Jeju Airports. Travelers can freely choose their schedules from September to November.

Through this promotion, the corporation aims to provide visiting tourists with opportunities to travel to various regions of Korea, thereby distributing the inbound demand, which is over 90% concentrated in the metropolitan area, to local areas and contributing to the revitalization of the regional economy.
