The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) released new international promotional ads for Korean tourism on October 23 and 31 through the KTO’s official YouTube channel, “Imagine Your Korea.”
This campaign, themed “The ‘Real’ Korea, Shared by Koreans—Experiences You Won’t Find in Search Results,” was developed based on recommendations gathered through a national participation promotion conducted by the KTO in June.
The slogan for this ad series is “Feel the [ ] of Korea.” Each visually rich video in the series focuses on one of four themes—"Trail”, “Nights,” “Adventures,” and “Rest”
emphasizing intuitive visuals over text to resonate with audiences of all ages worldwide.
In response to evolving digital trends, the KTO also plans to gradually release the “KOREA 100” short-form video series throughout this month. This project features 100 unique recommendations from 100 people, showcasing diverse ways to experience Korea.
Additionally, all members of NewJeans, who were appointed as this year’s Honorary Tourism Ambassadors for Korea, appear in these ads, conveying the appeal of Korean tourism through vibrant visuals and short, impactful messages.
