Korea Tourism Organization Announces 10 Hidden Tourist Destinations for This Year.

On the 17th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization announced the final selection of the "2025 Strong Potential Small Tourist Destinations" – 10 places with high growth potential.

＜Myeoncheon Eupseong＞

"Strong Potential Small Tourist Destinations" refers to tourist spots that have low recognition but high growth potential, which are being discovered and nurtured. The initiative has been jointly promoted by the organization and local governments since 2019.

＜Sunchang Fermentation Theme Park＞

The newly selected locations for this year include Gimpo Battleship Park (Gyeonggi-do Gimpo), Rainbow Healing Tourist Spot (Chungcheongbuk-do Yeongdong), Myeoncheon Eupseong (Chungcheongnam-do Dangjin), Sani Garden (Jeollanam-do Haenam), Sunchang Fermentation Theme Park (Jeollabuk-do Suncheon), Ottgol Village (Daegu Dong-gu), and the 5 sections of the Hoengseong Lake Trail (Gangwon-do Hoengseong).

Among last year's strong potential small tourist destinations, Dadepo Beach Park (Busan Saha-gu), Mujinjeong (Gyeongsangnam-do Haman), and Seongan Olle (Jeju) have also been selected for continued support this year.
