<Korean Info>Autumn rain is expected to start today across the country, and temperatures will drop dramatically.

From today, heavy autumn rain is expected to fall across the country, followed by a sharp drop in temperatures.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the rain is forecasted nationwide due to the passage of a low-pressure system, and it is expected to continue until the 19th.

The expected rainfall amounts are 20 to 60 mm (with some areas exceeding 80 mm) in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland Gangwon-do, and the Chungcheong region. In the eastern coastal and mountainous areas of Gangwon-do, rainfall is expected to range from 50 to 100 mm, with some areas receiving over 120 mm, which is considered a substantial amount for autumn rain.

Recently, the weather has been sunny with higher-than-average temperatures, but after the rain subsides, a high-pressure system from the north will bring strong cold winds, causing temperatures to drop to normal or slightly below normal levels.

By the morning of the 20th, temperatures across the country are expected to drop significantly.

On the 19th, morning lows are expected to range from 13 to 21 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 15 to 25 degrees. However, from the afternoon of the 18th, strong winds are forecasted nationwide, which will make the temperatures feel even colder.
