Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) announced that they will be offering discounted sales of rail travel products until the end of next month, in conjunction with the "Autumn Travel Season 2024" (November 1 to November 30).
During this period, KORAIL will provide up to a 50% discount on fares for five scenic belt trains. These trains include the Donghae Santa Train, Baekdudaegan Canyon Train, Seohae Golden Train, Namdo Ocean Train, and Jeongseon Arirang Train.
In addition, the unlimited rail travel pass "Rail-ro" will be discounted by 10,000 won, regardless of the type of ticket.
For the Youth Pass (for those under 29 years old), the 7-day consecutive pass is priced at 70,000 won , and the 3-day flexible pass is 60,000 won. The "Adult Pass," with no age limit, is available for 100,000 won for the 7-day consecutive pass and 90,000 won for the 3-day flexible pass.
Moreover, as part of the "Local Love Rail Travel" program aimed at promoting tourism in areas with declining populations, KORAIL will offer a 10,000 won KTX discount voucher for independent travelers.
By selecting a destination, purchasing a ticket at a 10% discount, and verifying the QR code at designated tourist sites, travelers will receive an additional 40% discount coupon for trains and a 10,000 won KTX discount voucher for the following month.
The travel period for these discounts is limited to the month of November. Tickets can be purchased through KORAIL's official website (available in english), at travel centers nationwide, or via the mobile app "KORAIL Talk." However, availability may end early depending on reservation status.
