Korea's largest subculture event, "Animation × Game Festival (AGF) 2024," will take place over two days, December 7 and 8, at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province.
First held in 2018, AGF has grown into Korea's premier anime and gaming festival, celebrating its fifth year in 2024. In addition to anime and games, the festival covers a broad spectrum of subcultures, including manga, light novels, and virtual YouTubers, making it a comprehensive event for fans.
AGF 2024, which had already announced plans to expand its scale compared to previous years, will be even larger than the lineup previewed in June.
Co-hosted by Aniplus (ANIPLUS INC.), Daewon Media, Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and D&C Media, the event is supported by major sponsors like KLOO Games, Smilegate, and Megabox.
Visitors can look forward to exhibitions featuring trending anime, games, light novels, manga, virtual YouTubers, and characters. The event will also host merchandise sales, collaboration cafés, and a variety of activities.
Highlights include interactive experiences with games, mascot characters, and cosplayers, as well as voice actor talk shows, creator panels, and mini-concerts featuring popular musicians.
