<Korean Info> Mickey Mouse appears at Deoksu Palace!

On the 23rd, the Royal Palaces and Tombs Center of the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Deoksu Palace Management Office announced a joint exhibition with The Walt Disney Company Korea (hereafter referred to as "Disney Korea") titled "Mickey in Deoksu Palace: Art Beyond Boundaries," to be held from September 28 to October 20 at Deoksu Palace in Jung-gu, Seoul.

This exhibition is part of the collaboration agreement signed in June between the Cultural Heritage Administration and Disney Korea, aimed at enhancing the traditional value of national heritage and promoting it both domestically and internationally. The exhibit reinterprets the presence of "Mickey and Friends" visiting Deoksu Palace’s Junghwajeon Hall, blending with royal heritage and nature, through the perspectives of young Korean artists.

Various photo spots will be set up throughout Deoksu Palace, allowing visitors to take pictures with Disney character sculptures. There will also be a "four-cut life photo" booth featuring traditional Korean patterns alongside Disney characters. In addition, Suhyun, a member of the group AKMU, has reinterpreted Disney theme songs in a music video shot against the backdrop of Deoksu Palace's Seokjojeon Hall, which will be available on the Cultural Heritage Administration’s YouTube channel and other media outlets.
