This event is specifically designed for amateur climbers rather than professional athletes. Registration will open on the 27th, with a total of 120 spots available—60 men and 60 women—on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jointly organized by The North Face Korea and the Korean Alpine Federation, the event will take place on the first floor of the indoor central plaza at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, on the 14th of next month.

The competition will focus on "bouldering," where participants climb artificial walls 4 to 5 meters high without ropes or safety equipment, aiming to complete specific challenges.

Any amateur climber born before January 1, 2011, and not registered in the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee’s athlete registration system, is eligible to apply.

Son Ga-eun, Vice President of The North Face Korea, commented, "We will continue our efforts to promote and develop sport climbing in Korea through various initiatives, including sponsorship of the national sport climbing team and international climbing competitions, as well as discovering new talent."
