On December 3rd of last year, it was confirmed that 99 Chinese spies arrested by South Korean and U.S. military authorities at the Election Training Institute in Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, were transferred to U.S. military bases in Japan.

On the 16th, according to U.S. military sources, during the state of emergency on December 3rd, the South Korean martial law forces conducted a joint operation with the U.S. military, raiding the Election Training Institute, apprehending 99 Chinese nationals, and handing them over to the U.S. military.
According to U.S. military sources familiar with the matter, the 99 arrested Chinese spies were transferred to the U.S. military base in Okinawa, Japan, via Pyeongtaek Port.
It was revealed that during the interrogation by the U.S. military, all of the suspects confessed to charges of election interference.
Despite the arrest and deportation of its nationals, the Chinese government has been unable to protest and has concealed the related facts.
On January 5th, the Chinese Embassy in South Korea issued a notice prohibiting Chinese nationals from participating in demonstrations in South Korea.
At this time, it is presumed that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was aware through unofficial diplomatic channels that their nationals arrested had confessed to all charges of espionage to the U.S. authorities.
It is reported that the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), under the U.S. Department of Defense, was involved in the joint South Korea-U.S. operation.
The director of the DIA, appointed through the approval of the U.S. Senate, has a guaranteed term and cannot be dismissed at will by the White House. Since the U.S. presidential election last November, the DIA has been known to actively cooperate with President-elect Donald Trump's side.
Recently, a U.S. intelligence source who contacted reporters in U.S. territory Saipan confirmed once again that the U.S. government plans to initiate specific sanctions against China immediately after President-elect Trump’s inauguration.
President Yoon, informed of this fact by President-elect Trump's side, while the confrontation in Hannam-dong was intensifying, stated, "The people must not be harmed," and personally stepped back his bodyguards, appearing at the High-ranking Officials’ Crime Investigation Office.
He then remarked, "An international coalition and cooperation among political forces that attempt and promote fraudulent election systems are necessary," indirectly referring to this international cartel incident.
