Son Heung-min, the 32-year-old captain of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL), has sparked attention after his daily breakfast menu was revealed.

Recently, a video titled "A Day in the Life" was posted on Tottenham’s official Instagram account. In the video, Son Heung-min is shown having breakfast and training at the club. At 8:28 AM, Son eats his morning meal, saying, "I usually have sourdough with avocado and a ham omelette. I eat the same thing every morning." One of his teammates, observing him, added, "He eats the same breakfast every day."

For lunch, Son had a meal consisting of chicken, tomatoes, and avocado, followed by protein yogurt for dessert. After finishing his lunch, he left the training grounds.

Professional football players like Son Heung-min follow a very strict diet to prevent injuries and avoid weight gain.

<sourdough bread>

Sourdough, also known as acidic dough, is one of the oldest methods of fermenting bread. It has a lower phytic acid content, which is known to inhibit mineral absorption. Because of the lower phytic acid levels, sourdough bread allows for better mineral absorption, making it more nutritious than regular bread. Additionally, the fermentation process increases its folate content.

Sourdough bread also has a low glycemic index, meaning it does not cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels. The fermentation process breaks down gluten, making it easier to digest, making it a good alternative for those who experience bloating, diarrhea, or abdominal pain after consuming wheat.

<avocado>

Avocado is a food known to help reduce visceral fat. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, avocado boosts metabolism and increases the rate at which visceral fat is burned. It also helps improve gut health and aids in fat elimination.

<omelette>

Omelettes, made by cooking beaten eggs, are a great option for diets if cooked with the right amount of oil. Eggs are highly effective for muscle growth, with egg whites containing almost no fat and offering 3.5 grams of protein. They are more beneficial for those looking to build muscle rather than lose body fat.

For adult women, consuming just two eggs can provide 20% of the recommended daily protein intake.
