Amid the High-Ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Office (CIO), which lacks jurisdiction over insurrection charges, engaging in a blatant act of rebellion by attempting to arrest the incumbent President, freedom-loving citizens are resolutely preparing to resist with unwavering determination against the Democratic Party-led "12.3 Insurrection Incident."
On December 2, the CIO supported the rebellion by attempting to execute an unlawfully issued arrest warrant against President Yoon Suk-yeol by the Seoul Western District Court. In protest, supporters of the conservative freedom bloc held anti-arrest rallies to defend President Yoon, who had constitutionally and lawfully declared martial law to purge anti-state forces. Forming a solid human chain, they stood firmly against the illegal attack, responding with fierce resistance.
On December 3, the CIO attempted to execute the illegal arrest warrant by trying to enter the presidential residence. Supporters of President Yoon, gathered near the Hannam-dong residence and the presidential office, declared their intent to employ a "strength-to-strength" strategy to counter the illegal warrant execution. They pledged to resist with full force if the actions continued.
Earlier, on the afternoon of December 2, President Yoon conveyed a signed A4 message to supporters gathered near the presidential residence. He stated, "The Republic of Korea is now in crisis due to the rampant actions of domestic and international sovereignty-infringing forces and anti-state elements." He emphasized, "I will fight to the end alongside you to defend this country."
