For the first time as a Korean fashion company, MUSINSA is accelerating its entry into the Japanese market by forming a partnership with ZOZO, the operator of Japan's online fashion platform "ZOZOTOWN."
On the 16th, MUSINSA announced that Chief Executive Cho Man-ho and CEO Park Jun-mo signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for business collaboration with ZOZO's Representative Director Koutaro Sawada at ZOZO's headquarters in Japan.
Starting with this MOU, the two companies plan to jointly promote the entry of Korean fashion brands into the Japanese market and aim to expand sales.
ZOZO intends to provide various support related to domestic distribution and marketing to ensure that Korean designer brands hoping to enter the Japanese market can operate stably.
MUSINSA will serve as a bridge between Korea and Japan, supporting Korean designer brands that lack the manpower and resources necessary for entry into the Japanese market.
Earlier this year, MUSINSA already operated an online pop-up store on ZOZOTOWN, verifying the synergy of its collaboration with ZOZO.
The online pop-up store introduced a variety of Korean fashion brands to Japanese customers, collaborated with Japanese influencers to launch limited-edition products, and garnered significant attention.
