On the 31st, President Yoon Suk-yeol met with the presidential office staff, including the chief of his secretariat, who had visited the detention center. He told them, "As long as the presidential office remains the center of national politics, don't lose heart, and do your best from your respective positions."

President Yoon also asked his staff, "During the Lunar New Year holidays, did the healthcare system function properly? Were there any inconveniences for the elderly?"

He added, "This (the detention center) is also a place where people live. I am doing well and staying healthy."

A presidential office official stated, "President Yoon is in good health and maintains a calm demeanor."

This meeting with his staff was the first general meeting since President Yoon's detention at the Seoul Detention Center. Earlier, the High-ranking Officials Crime Investigation Office (HOCI) lifted the general meeting ban on the 24th, but general meetings were restricted during the Lunar New Year holidays.

It is expected that President Yoon will continue to have general meetings with ruling party members and others in the future. However, since only one general meeting per day is allowed, scheduling will be necessary.
