On the 22nd (local time), Samsung Electronics will host its new product launch event, "Galaxy Unpacked 2025," in San Jose, California, where it will unveil the premium AI phone series "Galaxy S25."

The "Galaxy S25" series will feature enhanced AI capabilities, including the "Now Bar," which functions as a personal assistant for everyday activities such as business trips and travel.
The Now Bar can be activated by sliding up from the bottom of the screen, even without unlocking the phone. It provides context-specific functions such as map notifications, translations, and recommendations for music and videos based on the time and environment, without needing to open individual apps.
For example, if you input your travel schedule into the Now Bar beforehand, on the day of your trip, you can easily check various information such as traffic to the airport, weather at your destination, and the exchange rate of the visiting country.
In addition to this, the device will feature numerous advanced multimodal capabilities that process text, images, videos, and audio data simultaneously.
Despite rising prices of key components such as the application processor (AP), the sale prices of many models are expected to remain unchanged.
There is growing speculation that Samsung Electronics is making a strategic move to gain the upper hand in the AI phone competition with Apple.
