On December 22 (local time), Billboard reported, "Stray Kids have become the first artist to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with six consecutive albums since their debut," highlighting their groundbreaking record with their latest album HAP (合). The report further emphasized that the album's debut at No. 1 is an unprecedented achievement.

Additionally, JYP Entertainment announced that the album, released on December 13, sold approximately 187,000 units in its first week in the United States.

This achievement builds on Stray Kids' streak, which began with their mini-album ODDINARY in 2022, followed by MAXIDENT, 5-STAR, ROCK-STAR, EIGHT, and now HAP (合), all reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Stray Kids are the first artist in history to debut six consecutive albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since the chart’s inception in March 1956.

With this record, Stray Kids have become the group with the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in the 21st century, standing alongside BTS, Linkin Park, and Dave Matthews Band.

Furthermore, Stray Kids solidified their position as global icons by winning the Top Global K-POP Artist award at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, held on December 12.
