Singer G-Dragon's appearance on a variety show for the first time in 12 years has been a hot topic due to his unique fashion choices.
On October 30, G-Dragon appeared on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, dressed in a sleek suit and sporting a daisy-shaped brooch from his own brand, Peace Minus One, prominently displayed on his chest. Adding a bold red-accented tie, he exuded his usual fashion-icon status.
One of the standout fashion items was, without a doubt, his brooch. Created in collaboration with Jacob & Co., the brooch is designed as a daisy missing one petal, featuring 18k white gold, 9.31 carats of white diamonds, 1.94 carats of yellow sapphires, and 4.2 carats of tourmaline.
This brooch was auctioned last month in October for 150 million KRW at a charity auction held by Pharrell Williams' foundation, Jupiter.
Other pieces, including a suit from Ernest W. Baker, shoes by Christian Louboutin, and several statement rings, also drew attention.
During the broadcast, G-Dragon donated his winnings to his anti-drug foundation, JusPeace.
Last December, he was caught up in drug use allegations but was ultimately cleared of all charges. Following this, he announced the establishment of JusPeace at a press conference and launched the foundation’s activities on August 5 with a founding event.
The foundation focuses on supporting creative talents in the arts, promoting public use of copyrights, supporting public-interest initiatives by creators, enhancing mental health through art therapy, and providing music-based treatment for young people struggling with drug addiction.
