During the Lunar New Year holiday, three Korean films are engaged in fierce competition at the box office.
According to data from the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system on the 28th, Hitman 2 reclaimed the top spot after three days, surpassing Black Sisters, by drawing in 189,000 viewers (36.3%) the previous day. The film's cumulative audience has now reached approximately 790,000.
Black Sisters secured second place with 162,000 viewers (31.6%) on the same day, bringing its total audience count to around 768,000.
In third place is Secret That Cannot Be Told, which premiered yesterday and attracted around 50,000 moviegoers on its opening day. A remake of the Taiwanese film of the same name, the movie has garnered a 93% rating on the CGV Golden Egg Index, which reflects audience reviews.
