Until now, the only drinks to have sold more than 100 million cups at Starbucks locations in South Korea were five coffee-based beverages: Americano, Caffè Latte, Caramel Macchiato, Starbucks Dolce Latte, and Cold Brew.

Grapefruit Honey Black Tea is the first tea-based beverage to exceed 100 million sales, making it the sixth best-selling item overall, including coffee drinks.

The Grapefruit Honey Black Tea combines the refreshing taste of grapefruit and the sweetness of honey in a tangy honey sauce, with the added flavor of black tea. It has consistently ranked in the top 10 most popular beverages at Starbucks each year. Initially introduced in September 2016 as a limited-time promotional drink, its unexpected popularity and sell-out success led to its permanent addition to the menu.
