On March 31, a video was posted on an online community showing NCT WISH’s Sion and Hearts2Hearts at Incheon International Airport on March 29.

In the video, fans are seen crowding around Sion to take photos, while his bodyguard is seen trying to clear the way with an irritated tone.

"At this time, one airport passenger loudly protested to the bodyguard, shouting."

A similar situation occurred when Hearts2Hearts departed from Gimpo International Airport, with security staff trying to handle the crowd of fans.

This incident sparked various opinions online regarding the use of airports by Kpop idols and celebrities.

Many netizens criticized the idols, saying, “How bad must it have been for people to yell like that?” while some blamed the agency, saying, “The problem lies with the agency for not managing the situation properly.”

Additionally, it was pointed out that idol sponsorships and “airport fashion” photo shoots contribute to excessive attention. Some celebrities wear sponsored outfits when they travel abroad, and their agencies often share their departure schedules with the media to encourage the capture of these “airport fashion” photos.

In July of last year, there was a similar controversy regarding excessive security for actor Byun Woo-seok at Incheon Airport. The airport had considered providing a special exit for celebrities, but after criticism of “excessive special treatment,” the plan was eventually canceled.
