On the 23rd, during their appearance at "ComplexCon" in Hong Kong, NewJeans premiered their new song “PIT STOP” and announced a temporary suspension of activities following a court decision that accepted a provisional injunction request.
This was the group’s first official appearance since the court ruling, and the performance was conducted without mentioning the team’s name.

The members shared, “We are stopping our activities for now, but we will definitely come back stronger,” expressing both regret and a strong will to return. They added, “The contract process was mentally exhausting, but we have no regrets because this was a choice to protect ourselves.”

Recently, the court granted ADOR’s injunction request to preserve their status in the dispute over the exclusive contract with NewJeans members.
In response, the members stated, “We will clarify the truth through the appeals process,” and told TIME magazine that “this incident reveals the problems in the K-pop industry,” emphasizing that they are becoming a symbol of change.
Meanwhile, ADOR stated that they respect the court’s decision and promised continued support for the members.
